Meet Mike

Mike Densmore is running for Mayor of Alexander City. Mike was born and raised in Alexander City. He is a graduate of Benjamin Russell High School and attended Auburn University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Mike was also a member of the football and wrestling teams at Auburn.

After college, Mike started his career as a teacher and coach at Gadsden City Schools before joining the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. After three decades, Mike retired from Goodyear as the Director of Global Strategic Planning and Organization Development.

Mike has served as a pastor for over 40 years and has been active in various community and charitable organizations, including chairing the Russell Medical Foundation Strategic Planning Committee, the Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way.

Mike has been married to his wife, Patsy-Coe, for 42 years, and they have two sons and three grandchildren.
